At 9:00 AM, the Speaker of the Danish Parliament Søren Gade (V), along with the Deputy Speakers of the Presidium, received President Zelensky at the main entrance staircase of Christiansborg Castle. They then went to Landstingssalen (the former Upper Chamber), where Zelensky addressed members of the Folketing and ministers. Here Søren Gade also delivered a speech.

Afterwards, there was a brief reception with party leaders and chairpersons of the Foreign Policy Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee, the European Affairs Committee, and the Defense Committee.

Later in the morning, an informal gathering took place in the Assembly Hall, where both President Zelensky and Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen (S) gave speeches.

After an audience with Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II, the Ukrainian President returned to the Danish Parliament, where he addressed the Danish people in front of the main entrance staircase in Rigsdagsgården.
