The Epidemics Committee
The Committee covers a very wide range of subjects and deals with all matters relating to the Epidemics Act.
Tasks and responsibilities
The Committee undertakes parliamentary scrutiny of Ministers’ application of the provisions in the Epidemics Act, cf. Sections 9-11. In this respect, the Committee differs from the other standing committees of the Danish Parliament.
Scrutiny may also be exercised when committee members put questions to the Minister concerned. The Committee also focuses on legislative matters as its other main task.

Study trips
Study trips provide a source of information and inspiration for the Committee members and, as such, may be carried out both in Denmark and abroad.
