With the acquisition of the buildings vacated by the National Archives on the island of Slotsholmen, the Danish Parliament aims to establish new and improved settings for an open, accessible, and engaging democracy. The new physical spaces will include an underground visitor entrance, parliamentary facilities and workspaces, an eatery and a visitor centre where more visitors are invited to learn more about the Parliament’s work.
