Interparliamentary Meeting on Re-launching the Single Market
Growth, migrant workers and enforcement of EU law are on the agenda when the Business, Growth & Export and Employment Committees of the Danish Parliament are hosting an International Conference on April 16th and 17th. The Conference will be held in the“Landstingssal” in the Christiansborg Palace and will be open to the public.
The conference is among several Interparliamentary Conferences hosted by the Danish Parliament in connection with the Danish EU presidency. The Co-chairpersons are Ms. Karin Gaardsted of the Business, Growth & Export Committee and Mr. Lennart Damsbo-Andersen of the Employment Committee.
Parliamentarians and staff of the 27 EU member countries and 6 candidate countries and the European Parliament are invited to take part. The program of the Conference includes interventions from and discussions with the Danish Minister for Business & Growth Mr. Ole Sohn, Director General Koos Richelle of the European Commission and Ms. Danuta Jazlowiecka, rapporteur in the European Parliament on the posting of workers directive as well as representatives of Danish business organizations and of labor unions.
