Allan Niebuhr, born September 1st 1951 in Silkeborg, son of toolmaker Charly Villy Niebuhr and housewife Else Niebuhr. Married to Lone, financial manager in Rødekro Municipality. Allan Niebuhr has two adult children who live away from home and Lone's two children who live at home.
Was chairman of the Defence Committee, the Naturalization Committee, and the Committee on Approval of the Elections. Was the party's spokesman for the Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Committee, and the Naturalisation Committee. Was animal welfare and regional policy spokesman. Was member of the Municipal Affairs Committee, the Transport Committee, the Education Committee, the Housing Committee, and the 21 Members' Committee on the Faroe Islands. Was member of the Committee for Contact to the German Minority, and the Conservative Party's chairman of the Nordic Council.
Vice-chairman of the school board in Holbøl and member of the school commission in Bov, 1982-1986. Member of the town council and chairman of the cultural committee in Bov Municipality, 1986-1997. Mayor of Bov Municipality, 1998-2001. Vice-chairman of the Padborg-Kruså Trade Council, 1998-2001. Chairman of the party's constituency organisation in Bov, 2001-2005. Vice-chairman of the Løgumkloster nomination district, 2001-2005.
