English › Visit the Danish Parliament
Some 60,000 people visit the Danish Parliament every year. Many visitors are schoolchildren, but also tourists, companies and various organisations come to Christiansborg to tour the buildings and learn about parliamentary life. Free guided tours are available throughout the year and are offered both to individuals and groups.
The guided tours aim to give visitors an insight into Christiansborg as a workplace for the Members of Parliament and as the centre of democracy and legislative power in Denmark. Guides also tell visitors about the dramatic history of Christiansborg. Tours last about 45 minutes and are conducted by Parliament officers.
To learn more about guided tours, choose from the menu on the left, where you will also find information about Christiansborg’s history and its interiors, Christiansborg as a workplace and about other sights at Slotsholmen.
