Interparliamentary Conference on the Road to Green Growth and Sustainable Development

The upcoming World Summit on Sustainable Development Rio +20, and priorities for the EU’s 7th Environmental Action Plan will be on the agenda when Members of Parliaments from across Europe gather in Copenhagen on May 14– 15 2012. The Danish Parliament’s Foreign Affairs and Environment Committees will host the Conference, which takes place in the “Landstingssal” of the Danish Parliament. The meeting is open to the press.

The United States special envoy to Afghanistan and Pakistan, Ambassador Marc Grossman, paid a visit to the Danish Parliament yesterday where he met the Speaker of the Danish Parliament and members of the Foreign Policy Committee and the Defence Committee.
